Our Story

The principal company ABST (Akdum-Bakdum Sourcing & Trading, Akdum-Bakdum means ‘anything and everything’) is established in 2022 in Bangladesh, while Probir Barua and Mohammad Ruhul Amin were copartner of ABST. Later on AB Sourcing And Trading UK Ltd., founded and registered in UK by Mohammad Ruhul Amin, who is Bangladeshi Merchant Ship Captain and UK citizen well connected with the merchants, traders, manufacturers and suppliers. Probir Barua, an Engineer and former navy officer in Bangladesh, specializes in sourcing and trading of commodities globally.

Later on Kamruzzaman Khandaker joined the team by opening AB Sourcing Trading and Brokerage, Qatar. Mr. Khandaker is a graduate in business and over 15 years has been in business in Qatar having wider network with investors, refineries, quarries, industries etc. for industrial raw materials and energy resources.

To strengthen company efforts jointly and globally covering the financial sector Masood Memon registered another ABST, whose name ABST Consultancy and Trading LLC, NJ, USA. Mr. Memon an IT professional in the financial sector and well conversant with the latest developments in the sector.

The primary focus of the company includes agriculture-based products, industrial raw materials, vehicles, machineries, and equipment. The company is also focusing development in industrial, transportation, shipping, infrastructure and energy based projects. We are working with the clients in Bangladesh, Middle East Countries, African Countries, Turkey, China and India. We are offering commodities, equipment and services with competitive pricing and from reliable supply chains sourced from countries like Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, India, South Africa, and the Middle East. A dynamic and unified operations concepts and strategic presence of AB Sourcing & Trading's in the Bangladesh, Qatar, UK, USA and will have UAE soon, which positions them to efficiently meet the diverse needs of their international clientele, drawing attention for their specialized sourcing capabilities and professional service offerings.
